    Popcorn and Oil measuring:

    1. Turn unit ON with switch on crown of machine. Allow the unit to run for 3 – 5 minutes to heat up kettle.
    2. Turn unit OFF.
    3. By using the (1-Tbs.) oil-measuring spoon supplied, add 2 Tbs. of your favorite popcorn cooking oil to the kettle.
    4. Then by using the (½ cup) popcorn-measuring cup supplied, add 1/2 cup popcorn to the kettle.
    5. Turn the unit back ON, and close the door while it pops.
    6. When popping sounds slow down or stop, turn the unit OFF. Flip the kettle over to empty the kettle.

I have a Fun time 2408 machine we ended up using different pre made popcorn bags and oil 4 6 and 12 and were just now realizing that weve been using the wrong oz,s and when we do it make crappy pop co

You can clip the corner of the popcorn section and shake the salt into a small bowl, then cut just the corn section into another bowl, and hand measure the ingredients.

The Funpop 8 works best with 2oz (1/4 cup) oil, 8oz (1 cup) popcorn, and 1 teaspoon of salt.

Need instruction on a popcorm machine ccp509 and ccp-510. how much oil, butter, popcorn to you put in them. they came with no instruction.

CCP-509 User Manual
http://nostalgiaelectrics.com/manuals/ccp-509.pdf Instructions for use see Page 7

CCP-510 User Manual
http://nostalgiaelectrics.com/manuals/ccp-510.pdf Full instructions see Page 10

The instructions for the CCP-509 are not specific about the quantity of oil and kernels to use. The instructions for the CCP-510 are clearer, stating that for every measuring cup full of kernels ( 4 oz.) add 2 tablespoons of light vegetable oil.

Ccp-510 popcorn popper pops only small amount and quits

I had the same problem when I firs bought mine. I followed the instructions as to the proportion of corn to oil. Forget the book! I found that with this machine I had to use three times the oil that was caled for in the instructions to get all of the corn to pop. Better yet, we started purchasing the premade kits with the oil, popcorn and salt. Since changing to both of these systems we have enjoyed GREAT ppcorn!
