I have an Onkyo SR803 Receiver and Samsung BD-P1590 Bluray DVD Player. The remote control code given in the SR803 Manual for Samsung DVD player (0600) is not working. I tried various other codes from the manual but nothing is working. Can some one help me with the remote code?

Your Onkyo remote doesn't have any Blue-ray disk player codes. These codes aren't the same as the DVD player codes. This receiver was manufactured in 2005. The Samsung BD-P1950 was manufactured in 2009. Universal remote codes usually don't include devices that were manufactured less than 6 months before the remote was programmed at the factory.
You would have better luck using a newer universal remote with TV, Audio and BD-player support. (Any remote made after 2010 should work for most features on both the receiver and the BD-player.)

(If the Samsung BD-P1950 remote supported more devices than just the TV, I'd suggest using that instead.)

I have heard
several complaints about this problem. Unfortunately, none of those codes work for the blu-ray player. I also ask Samsung Techs product support, and was told the TV remote cannot be
programmed to run the blu-ray.
Just contact with the service in your zone and buy new one, the price really is very short and solve the problem so fast. I suggest contact directly with the Samsung Support.
