first install the PC suite and connect your mobile with system at first time it installs the needed drivers after installation completes restart your system and then do this to enusre the modem is installed
control panel ---> phone and modem -->> modems
select the installed driver something it named nokia phone modem. select go to properties---> query modem if the process is success. create packet data connection in PC suite, connect and enjoy
You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions. ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000 Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000 Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile. send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code. After installing this one connect your phone and exit your pc suite tray icon.
Then open the nemisis service suite click on the tools button then select factory settings.
Then select the check box restore factory settings if your phone is symbian then check the symbian option then select the reset button that's all it will reset to factory default settings your security code reset to 12345.
My Nokia 7210 Supernova handset can not access internet, though it is working on P.C. as a modem. When I try to open webpage in mobile, it reflects a message "Subscribe packet data first" and "Link not available". Sometimes it says "Connection not available". Tough all settings are installed properly. My service provider is BSNL, UP East Circle (Faizabad district). Please suggest me the solution for this problem so that I can access net from mobile too. -RP Shukla Faizabad
I am Nokia 7210 Supernova user and I have GPRS connectivity by BSNL in UP East Circle (Faizabad). When I try to open webpage in mobile, it reflects a message 'Subscribe packet data first' and later displays "Link not available". Though internet is working in P.C. (Computer). I tried all possible ways but WAP is not working in my mobile. Please get me the right solution to this particular problem.
For you to be able to connect to the internet using your nokia 7210 supernova as a modem, you must do the following;
1. First download the nokia PC Suite from Nokia site http://www.nokiausa.com/get-support-and-software/product-support, select your device, leave the accessory and move on to select the service & software"
2. You then move ahead to download and install the Nokia PC suite on your computer. After successful installation, please run it.
3. Double click on the icon for the nokia pc suite on your desktop, once it is running look for the button that has "connect to the internet", it is the green globe with 2 arrows on it.
4. Once you get that double clicked, it takes you to a pop up that would now enable ypu connect to the internet via your service provider. Click on configure on the lower end of that window.
5. Click on the modem that you'll be using for the connection (bluetooth, USB cable) and click next.
6. After that process you would then be prompted to select your network operator from the list, once you do that you can then click finish and allow it connect.
After some couple of minutes yu'll be connected to the internet using your phone as a modem.
Use Nokia PC Suite to access net on PC. Download PC Suite from 'www.nokia-asia.com', install it on your PC and enjoy surfing. Without PC Suite, Nokia 7210 Supernova does not work for net access on PC, as per my personal experience too.
