I'm still looking for the manual (?).. it's more of a pamplet as I recall.

The battery charger is...
AC/DC Adapter Model 0750200DF
Specs are:

120 V AC 60 Hz to 7.5 /v 200ma

If you can't find the right adapter, you can probably get one of the universal adapters that will work.

I also recommend that you replace the batteries with "Brand New Original Pair Battery For FreeWalker RD-810, RD-820, RD-008, RD-820 Features
***Brand New Original Pair Battery For FreeWalker RD-810, RD-820, RD-008, RD-820***
Best replacement battery for FreeTalker Walkie-Talkie RD-810, RD-820, RD-008, RD-820.
Crafted with latest Lithium-Ion technology, it is intended to delivers long lasting talk times.
This Li-Ion based battery provides power in a thin, short and light package, fits the compatible
Walkie-Talkie model perfectly. It has power capacity of 600mAh, which allow you constantly talking
for 3 hours. standby time up to 3 days. It is absolutely an ideal choice that you won't be sorry
for getting."

Much more talk time than the original batteries.

Columbia walkie talkie wont connect to the other one

Hi,
Are you trying to connect a Columbia to another Columbia or to anther Make of walkie talkie radio?

No two makes are quite the same and slight differences can make all the difference, even if they were the same brand/make, different models can also impact on connectivity.

I hope this answers your query

Cheers,

What is the polarity of the jac/mic so I can charge rechargeable batteries by ACDC adaptor

Hi,

On you're AC adapter unit, there should, if it's a good one, have a switch with a + & - signs indicating the polarity you require to use.

Further to this, does your radio have an AC recharge point. Some of these units don't have this capability, but in your case it may.

This is usually found on the side of the radio.

If there is no such point, then what you need is to buy rechargeable batteries with the appropriate charger, you can't just use any charger for these batteries, else you'll damage them.

I hope this helps you.

Best regards,
Peter

Battery charger

Take a look at the plug on the end of the lead which comes from the charger then see if you can see a corresponding socket somewhere on the watch. You may have to remove a small plastic or rubber cover to find it or it may be behind a small door. It's got to fit somewhere, just keep looking. BMW
