My pool isn't heating much even in extreme heat.

My pool has stopped heating as much as normal. At first, the pool man discovered the sensor wasn't working. He fixed it and the pool began heating up quickly. Now, it has stopped heating again but the pool man said there is no problem. I have had the solar panels for 3 years and my pool is usually at 88-90. It's barely hitting 82 even when the weather has been 95-100. I can feel that the water coming in isn't very warm but I'm still being told there is no problem. Is there a way to diagnose if the thermostat setting or sensor is working properly?

If you pump is dual speed, try turning to lower speed and water will stay in solar system longer, thus having a higher heat gain

If the solar panels are hooked up the wrong way they won't heat the water as efficiently. Try reversing them. If I remember correctly one end is labeled with an orange sticker and that end is hooked to the skimmer and the other is hooked up to the pump...

Pool Heater. Hayward H100ID Starts fine and heats for about 5 minutes. Then heat stops. You can feel the blower its just cold air.

It sounds like your pool heater is not firing. I would check several things: the burner might be blocked and clogged, the gas valve might need to be replaced, the direct spark module might be malfunctioning, or the combustion blower might be cleaned. One of these is probably the issue. A service man can repair all of these problems.

Pool heat pump won't keep running

It is likely that you have a low refrigerant condition and require an HVAC person to service the unit. It's not unusual to need "freon" every so often. Call the repair man...

My microwave runs for 30 seconds and stops

It could be shutting off because of the heat sensor on the magnatron is over heating because of a bad capacitor or diode or the power transformer its self. This is a call for the service man BUT you know these days a microwave like this cost a couple of hundred bucks maybe a little more too. But it will possibly cost 150 or so if not more to fix the average microwave. If you really like it, then see if you can have it estimated BUT its not for the handy man to try to trouble shoot as theres extremly high voltage in these puppys even when they are not plugged in!! Good luck
