It could be something more serious, or as simple as inserting fresh/fully charged batteries, but the problem you describe is frequently due to corroded battery contacts inside the camera. Remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a clean cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or fine sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, clean the contacts at both ends of the batteries, and reinsert them in the camera. This cleaning cures the problem about 90% of the time, and I hope it works for you.

I have a kodak easy share Z710 camera n the lcd display has cracked and the flash is not working i need to find a authorised service centre in bangalore pls suggest

Unfortunately, it is probably less expensive to purchase the ZD710 new versus repair expenses. These can be purchased on eBay now for around $49 US.

I hope this helps!

Hello, I 'm just now ordering your Kodak ZD710

Kodak ZD710 User's Manual

Here is the link to the download page :
http://resources.kodak.com/support/pdf/en/manuals/urg00740/ZD710_UG_GLB_en.pdf

or
http://www.kodak.com/global/plugins/acrobat/en/service/manuals/urg00740/ZD710_UG_GLB_en.pdf

You will need to have Acrobat reader or Foxit reader installed.

I am sorry but the service manual for Kodak ZD710 is not available right now, I will need some time to search for the manual.

How can i use my kodak easyshare zd710 as a web cam?

You can't. The ZD710 is designed to store images and videos to memory, not to stream video live to another device.

Sorry that wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.

Kodack ZD710 not getting power?

So far you've done all the right things, please also try to upload new firmware: I doubt that it will solve the issue, but the alternative is a repair.

Connect the camera with the computer.
Turn the camera on.
Click onto the link and follow the instructions.

When i turn on the camera the lens comes out and makes a noise likes it won't come out then it will shut off

try to remove the camera battery for a while.
put back the battery while pressing the power button.

or try to tap the buttom back of the camera, to help the lens retract.

this can only be mechanical problem, if the solution did not solve the issue better send it out for repair.
