Error message Alignment

I have installed new replacement cartridges and I was first of all getting an alignment error message. I ran the clean cartridges programme and now I am getting incorrect black cartridges error message Please help. I know the cartridges are replacements but this is the first time I have had any problem. The printer did however stop mid print when the old cartridges were in telling me they needed replacing, could this be why? many  Thanks.

After replacing black cartridge, keep getting "press enter to align cartridge" error message. Pressed enter, it printed align page, same error message.

How Could you fix a Lexmark cartridge error?

Sol Some of the common errors related to printer cartridges are Errors 1102, 1203, 1204, or 120F and 929.
Error 1102 or 1200
This error message flashes when the cartridge/s is incorrectly installed or snapped in. Wrong installation of cartridge replacements causes communication problem between the printhead and the printer.
Error 1203, 1204 or 120F
This error also has something to do with installing the printer cartridge. This error message is related to alignment problems; which means a printer cartridge or cartridges is short or was not align with the other cartridges. A foreign object blocking the cartridge's path may also another reason.
Error 929
This error message is shown when the printer reads the printer cartridge as damaged or defective. The toner sensor appears to be not working properly and may warn about replacing a new cartridge.

I ran out of ink and replaced my cartridges. When I tried printing the alignment, it printed the alignment, then gave me the error message of ERROR 2200 and also says "Alignment problem. Remove tape...

Try cleaning the Gold section of the cartridges with a wet paper towel.

Unplug the printer and clean the gold contacts on the printer where the cartridge meets up to the printer with a wet paper towel. Do this till the towels come back clean.

Dry both the contacts on printer and cartridges.

Allow at least 30 mins for the printer to dry.

Plug the printer back in and reinstall the cartridges.

Align the cartridges,

Hope this helps.

I installed a new cartridge and I keep getting an error message to remove the tape, which I did before the install. The alignment test fails.

Printer normally does the alignment printing whenever you do something on the cartridges (removing, reseating or replacing). Try to remove the cartridges from the printer. Clean the nozzles using a damp paper towel, if necessary. Close the cover. Unplug the printer from the power source. Plug it back in after 10-15 seconds. When it's ready, insert the cartridges. Let the printer print the alignment page again. Let it finish the whole page without cancelling it.
Check if the problem persists.

Color cartridge stopped working.

Try cleaning the contacts on both the ink cartridge and the carriage with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. If that does not work, the nozzles on the color ink cartridge may be clogged with dry ink.

There is a nozzle cleaning utility in the Lexmark Solutions Center. Use that to clean the nozzles of your ink cartridges. The Lexmark Solutions Center is installed on your computer. You can find it in the Windows Start Menu under "All Programs" in a folder marked "Lexmark".

If your printer has been sitting without use for more than a few weeks, the nozzles may be too clogged with dry ink to clean by conventional means.

It nothing works, replace the color ink cartridge.
