I have a Malibu 600 watts low voltage transformer that works only for 30 minutes and then, will turn on again for another 1 hr. I only want to turn on one time but for 4hrs. I already removed one red and black key. Can you help me with my problem?

Malibu transformer is 12 volt AC
They make a photo eye for ML300-600-900 watt units, but not for 75-100 watt units

Unplug transformer, change bulbs with low voltage bulbs from local hardware or home center. There are two screws on back of each bulb.

Reason for unplugging transformer: because product manual lists that as best way to change bulbs. The low voltage transformer output is 12Volts and does not carry enough power to cause you harm if you touch bare wire.

How many watts of lights are connected to the transformer. It should be between 250 and 300 watts.

On the manuals page, I see 600 Watt power pack Model 8100-9600-10
May not be exact manual, I bet it is close

Routinely vailable on eBay...sometimes listed as "Intermatic" (Malibu's parent company.).

The timer motor is probably bad. Unfortunately, Malibu transformers have very few user servicable parts :-( , and the timer motor isn't one of them. One cannot even access the internal connections. If you recently purchased the transformer, return it to the store. If the transformer is less than 5 years old, it's still under warranty. In that case visit the Malibu website for instuctions.
