I found a sim card in my kitchen but i dont know the number? My friend needs a spare sim so i wanted to give it to her but have no idea on how to find out the number??

Its not the phone, but the sim that requires a PUK code. If you check your original sim starter pack, you would see your PUK code printed on it. I want you to know that its quite different fron the four digit pin code. Enter this puk code to unlock your sim. But if you cant find your starter pack, then I want to believe you know the number of you customer care, you could ask one or two people if you dont. Then, when you know the number, use some one else's line, but of your same network, perhaps a friend's, and call the customer care agents. Tell them your sim is requesting a PUK code which you dont have access to. Give them your phone number, and they should sort out the rest for you.

Hello,your puk code can only be giving to you by your service provider,all you need to do is to call their help desk,the puk code will be giving to you freely,but you will need to know your sim number because you will be asked to give it to them.
So if you want to get your sim number you can get it at the back of sim card pack.it will be found there,you might as well get your puk code there,depending on the network.its only your service provider that can give your puk code to you,no one has it other than them.

Hi, the PUK code is the security code for the sim card and not the phone, now when the sim card was new you would have been given the unique PUK code written on the card the sim card was attatched to.
if you no longer have this card then the only other place you can get this code from is your service provider, all you need to do is call them and give them either the phone number of the sim card or give them the number written on the back of the sim card, they will give you this code over the phone for free.
the other option you have open to you is if you dont need to use the sim card thats asking for the PUK code then you can go out and get another sim card and this will come with its own unique PUK code.
please dont try guessing the PUK code as it can be up to 11 digits long and they are totally random so guessing is beyond the question

PUK code means Personal unblocking key, it is mostly found on the card that the sim card was broken out of, it is the 8 digit number that is on it along side your mobile number and the rest. You can as well contact the customer care service center for the PUK code of your phone. They will give it to you.
That should do the job for you.

Hi the PUK code is the security code for the sim card and not any code to do with the phone, all you need to do to get the PUK code is call your service provider.
your service provider wont charge for giving you the code as the code belongs to you, all you need to tell them is your phone number or if you dont know that then the number printed on the sim card, they will then provide you with the 10digit PUK code for free over the phone.
this will then allow you to access the sim card.

you do have another option open to you though, if you dont need that sim card then you can go out and get another sim card and when you get given a new sim card you will get given the unique PUK code it will be written on the card the sim card is attatched to.

The PUK is associated to SIM card, and not to the phone. Just put a new Orange SIM card on the D900.

If the D900 is locked to Orange and your friend want to use a different SIM on it, that that can instead be done at any local phone shop for a small fee.
