Black blank screen Lenovo 3000 N100

I start my Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop, it used to show up really quickly saying "Lenovo" on that white screen, and then not even a second later, it would flash away. Now, when I start my laptop, nothing appears, it's just a blank screen. This happened earlier today. I was sitting around, I didn't touch the screen, I was on Facebook, and it just flashed off. I restarted my laptop, and still the screen is black. You can see the bright back light, but it's still just a blank black screen.

You say the laptop all of a sudden flashed off.

How old is the laptop? You may have suffered one of two things? First of all, if the hard drive will not boot back up, even after using the recovery discs, then that would explain it powering off. I have seen this happen on old desktop hard drives.

Next, try to get the transformer or adapter tested. It may not be putting out enough amperage to run the laptop.

Why does my Lenovo cant start up windows.

Try to perform full restart, press power button down until computer shuts down (+5 seconds). Then try to restart it. If repair function is offered, do not select that, select "start up windows normally".

When i turn on my computer its screen works fine, after some time it fades away shows lining pattern on my screen and when i touch the screen it comes to its original form,,, anybody having any information...

If you touch the screen and it comes back to normal this proves the LCD panel display is defective, only option replacement. Go to www.ebay.com Type: make and model of laptop and refine search to screen. Plus! hook a spare monitor to the video output to make sure there is no problem with the video graphics card.

I have lenovo 3000N seriesr laptop of HCQ model. when i am switching the laptop only white screen with lenovo written is comming, what may be the problem

Turn on your computer. Watch the display carefully while your PC starts. While the initial screen ( LENOVO ) is displayed, press the Lenovo Care button. The Rescue and Recovery workspace opens.

Click Restore your system > Restore my hard drive to the original factory state > follow the instructions on the screen.

If Rescue and Recovery did not launch, the motherboard may need replacing.

Hi. I think the LCD screen of your laptop needs a replacement because I think the backlight on that LCD is already busted thats why you need to point a flashlight or some sort of light just to see the display. Powerdraining your computer wont work because this already a hardware issue with the LCD, that's why when you switch display with your monitor it works fine. I would suggest replacing the LCD of that laptop or try calling Lenovo tech support if your laptop still under warranty so that they would replace it for free. This is no. to contact for your Lenovo laptop US/Canada 1-800-426-7378, Australia 1-300-880-917. Hope this Helps
