Frigidaire Dehumidifier gives F2 error code and no longer runs.

Exactly the same problem as Mr. Cunningham. An F2 error idicates a "bad sensor". Which sensor? Where is it? How do I swap it out?

F1 is room temperarure sensor error. F2 is tube temperature sensor error.

The room sensor usually is located in the front of the condenser. The tube sensor is usually plugged in a tube near the condensor.

The tube temperature sensor (thermistor) should be about 10K ohms.

I have a Frigidaire LAD504TDL dehumidifier and code 'ES' shows on display. What does this code mean? Unit runs but not much water in tank.

Good Morning Mark, thank you for your post!

I see that your Frigidaire dehumidifier is displaying an error code of "ES" and you would like to the meaning of that error code. The "ES" error code stands for evaporator thermistor error. This could be a possible problem with your control panel, thermistor, or a wiring harness. I would recommend contacting your manufacturer for further assistance with your dehumidifier. Best of luck! -Matt

The F2 code is on in the humidity window of my Frigidaire dehumidifier? Not in manual. What does this mean?

Good Morning friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dehumidifier displaying an error code of "F2". Typically, an "F2" error code stands for a miscommunication error. This could be a possible problem with a sensor or control panel. I would suggest performing a reset and that can be completed by disconnecting the power from your dehumidifier for roughly ten minutes. If you are still under warranty I would recommend contacting your manufacturer to see if any additional assistance can be provided. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

What does an A-5 error code on a Frigidare dehumidifier mean, and how do I correct it

Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. I am happy to assist you!

I show that the correct error code your Frigidaire dehumidifier is receiving is "AS". Typically, it means that your dehumidifier is experiencing a sensor failure. I show there aren't any manufacturer replacement parts available for your dehumidifier. This could be because it is a smaller appliance and repairs are often more costly than the actual appliance replacement. Is your dehumidifier still in warranty? If so, you might want to reach out directly to the manufacturer to determine the coverage on your dehumidifier and the procedures to any potential remedy in that regard. Best of luck!

Frigidaire dehumidifier has a F2 error and will not operate

Hello - Typically error code F2 indicates a sensor failed has occurred on the dehumidifier. You may want to contact your manufacturer to verify if the part is available and can be replace. Some do, some don't. Also confirm if the unit has a limited warranty on such concern.

My dehumidifier is giving me a F2 error message and isn't running

When I searched this error code, I found that F-2 means bad sensor. I found no further information as to what sensor it was. You don't give the name of the manufacturer, so I couldn't search from that perspective.

If it is a bad sensor, you may require professional repair.

Before I took it anywhere to be worked on, I would be certain that the catch bucket was setting square (indicating no water in the bucket).
