I have just purchased an Onkyo Receiver along with Boston Acoustics speakers. Everything sounds great, but I cannot use the Onkyo Remote control for ANYTHING.
no LED light lights up or anything. Am I doing something wrong or does my remote need to be sent back?

The batteries on the remote are fresh? if so the remote might be bad.

My problem is like the recvr doesn't recv the signal from the remote. All it will do is turn on Zone2. But nothing works via the remote. No power, no volume, no mode selection. Everything works manually at the recvr. I tried the reset function (pushing dvd/vcr button, while pushing standby button to clear to factory sttings), but that didn't change anything. Love the system, but I've had it for a couple weeks and now an issue.

I have the same problem but with the TX-SR606
I have an ONKYO TX-DS676. The batteries in the remote are fresh.
The problem is the ONKYO will not pick up the signals from the remote.
At first the volume control was a bit sticky from the remote to the receiver,
then it started not working at all although the other functions on the remote
worked fine. Now, none of the functions on the remote work. The Onkyo itself
functions fine manually. I've tried Universal remotes nothing...
any clues as to why this otherwise great sounding piece of equipment would do
this???
