Hi guys,
Can you please advise...
I have a Stihl ms310 chainsaw that keeps stalling after successfully starting. just cuts out very soon after starting (5-15 seconds), even before cutting anything. Goes from full running noise, then either gradually or quickly sounds like it's running out of gas and stops. Tank is full. Just had a service a couple months ago.
Is it a blocked fuel line, or carby, or something else? I am willing to take apart to check it out, but am not a tekkie, so need some specific advice for things to check/fix..
Thanks,
Curly
One more thing to try hold her on her side and loosten the fuel cap a little. A plugged vent may also cause your problem. HTH

-check and see if the air filter is clean.
-check if you have your intake selected for summer or winter, you will find that on your air intake there will be a tab insert that has a sun or snow flake insure that this is in the proper spot.
these two items list are usually the cause of what you described.
