It sounds like your auger is jammed. Pull out the ice bin a nf see if you can turn it by hand. If not, dump all the ice out and what doesn't come out, melt it with hot water. You probably have ice that melted together which is jamming the auger or an ice cube is in the perfect spot to jam the auger.
I believe that voltage to the auger motor should be DC voltage. Yes it could be a relay on the board causing this and it could also be the Auger Motor 2252130
This is probably one of the best videos I have ever found on replacing auger motors...at least how to access them in Kenmore units. I hope this helps you with your issue.
Remove the ice bucket and auger assembly and hold the door switch closed while pressing the ice dispenser button to check for a dead motor. If it turns, try holding it with your hand to see if it can take a bind. If it will then your auger is the problem, if not it's motor time.
If you take the ice bin out and gain access to the motor by removing the cover over the motor area you can check for voltage to the motor when you try the dispenser switch. If it's not getting voltage the switch is bad. If it gets voltage but don't turn or if it bogs down easily the the motor is bad.
There is a small door under neath ice maker shelf (literally) w/ 2 small screws that keep it in place,or a button that can release ice maker on the rt. side of machine. Good luck!!
To see how the auger goes back together, go the the Sears parts web site and put in your model number. It will show the parts list and a diagram. You may be able to print it out, Don't remember if there is a print option or not but if you have a screen capture program you could also.
When you push the ice dispensing lever, you should be able to hear the micro-switch clicking. If no click, the switch is faulty. The auger motor which is activated by the lever could also be faulty. This is the motor that causes the auger in the ice bucket to rotate one way for crushed ice and the other way for cubes. The auger could also be jammed. Try switching between crushed and cubes to unjam the auger. Empty the ice bucket and start again.
