First you'll need a model number. look on the underside of the seat, or on the metal plate between the rear wheels for the model no. sticker. wards tractors were made by MTD. there will be two numbers plus the serial number, write 'em both down. then log on to www.milacalawn.com. in most cases, you'll be able to pull up an owner's manual for your tractor with one or the other model numbers

Can anyone tell me what size table saw a Montgomery Ward Powr Kraft, it looks like model tpf34867, would be? Maybe 8, 9, pr 10 inch.

Ask around your friends and associates for a used 10" blade and see if it will fit.
Back when those were made, most all were 10".
The saws using smaller blades of 8 or 9 are much more recently produced.
God bless your efforts

Lawn Mower wont start

You need to obtain a manual for Briggs & Stratten engines. All the info you need will be in it. The most common cause for non starting in these engines is "Tight Tappets" Wether it's an OHV or the old "L" head engine, because they rev and work so hard, the valves seat themselves deeper into their seat which reduces the valve clearance. There is no adjustment on the older "L" engines, so you have to remove metal from either the valve stem, ot the lifter itself. I have in the past done this in situ with a point file, but it is a tedious job. Otherwise you must remove the head and take out the valves and grind the stems. A tricky task and probably should be done by a mechanic.

Line up the deck where it needs to be, and lower the lever....the hanging links should come close to where they go, then use the pins (or whatever) to insert into the hanging levers....Leave the handle lowered, then hook the belt onto the engine pulley, then line it up with the pulley on the deck...you may have removed the belt guides, so put them back on...They help keep the belt from falling off.
Check your work to make sure things look right...You should be done.
