SD card in MP3 player

My daughter has a RCA M202C MP3 player. It is only a 512mb. The player has space for a SD card. I downloaded songs onto the SD card and put it in the MP3 player. DOes anyone know how to retrieve these songs and actually play what is on the SD card? It does not pull them up when scrolling through the other songs on the player. Yep same problem here... I have a 4GB mp3 player with a 4GB Micro SD card... I heard that you can only load files/mp3's onto the SD card by using a USB adapter thing, which is what I've been using. When I'm finished however, I insert the card into my mp3 player but none of the new songs show up. Anyone have a solution yet??

SD card = too big for player to read. Get a smaller SD card.

I'm using a 1gb sandisk sd memory card to sync mp3 song on it. THe mp3 songs go on it fine and play on the computer and on the mp3 player ok. The problem is I have about 533mb of space used and have about...

You may have reached the maximum number of files allowed in the root directory of the file system. If you already have a folder on the card, try moving some of the MP3 files into that folder. If you can copy 1 new MP3 file onto the card, that is your problem. Hopefully your MP3 player supports folders!

My gpx wont let me retrieve the songs that i have on it i want the songs off i use to sync with windows 11 but it just shows that the space is used and shuffling the songs doesnt even work.

It is easier to get a SD memory card for it. Drag and drop the music onto the window which represents the SD memory card and then just put the SD memory card into the GPX MP3 player. I have the same MP3 player and it works nice... it was a good deal for the money! Take the savings and invest in a cheap SD memory card and you will be happy.... I was!
:-) Good Luck!

Don't have a user manual for the RCA M202C Audio Player

The M button is for the menu. Hold it down and the menu should pop up. As for the memory card, look for a standard SD card near in the camera/USB drive section of a department store.

SD card in MP3 player

Was the SD card in the MP3 player when you loaded the songs or did you load them some other way?  You may have to first put the SD card in the MP3 player first, then load the songs onto the player.

Problem with SD card recognition

Try updating the firmware, you can download it from the RCA Website (http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/).
If your computer doesn't recognize the player, you'll have to turn it off, remove the battery and keep "PLAY" pressed for 10 seconds while connecting it to the USB port, then update the firmware.

I need help

you can download the Toshiba SD memory utilities from here; http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modItemList.jsp Just filter the results with "SD" and you will find several different downloads for either xp or vista. This will do the same as the Sigma Tel program, which appears to be unavailable online. Hope this helps - please ask again if you still have trouble :)
