Blackberry Pearl wont turn on....

My Blackberry Pearl won't turn on at all. I've charged it for a while and I did get the green LED light that says its charged. When I move the ball around I hear the clicks. Although I cannot receive calls, make calls, or do anything at all with it. The screen is completely black and the only noise it makes is when I move the ball around. Anything I can do to fix this?

Try taking the battery out for a minute then putting it back in and see if it will turn on. Otherwise the display may be broken, did it get dropped?

You need not worry green light indicates that you are in a wireless coverage area. Please turn off the wireless by going to options.

How to switch off the green and red LED ?

My wife and I both have Pearl's. I found that the problem on both of them was caused by Color Pearl, an application that allows you to change the color of the Pearl's trackball. It was not a problem until upgrading the Blackberry software to v 4.5. I tried rebooting, removing the battery, etc. The light always came back on after an alert. Removing the application ColorPearl did the trick. Just go to Options>Advanced Options>Applications and delete ColorPearl. Hope this helps someone.
