It's been less than a year since i bought this product. The dvd player was opening but it will go sideways. My dad tried to just manually align it giving it a little push, and hoping that would fix the problem. It worked a couple of times, but then it stopped playing dvds it aso gives me the msg. tray error I am gonna try to contact the manufacturer so that they could fix it. You would think they would make these products more durable knowing that they are for childre.
I'm having the same problem with my daughters disney princess tv DVD combo and it's ridiculous
These childrens products, although they NEED to be designed to be more durable, the manufacturers know they are for children and make them as cheap as possible. I guess it is their thinking that instead of making a quality product, if they make it cheap enough you can just buy another one instead if it is broken.
Yes, the manufacturer should definitely fix it if it is within their limited warranty. Usually 1-3years.
I feel for you though. Good luck with the manufacturer. In the event they will not help you, you can always file a consumer complaint with the BBB complaining about their crappy product.
