Try a dishwasher cleaning product. Relatively easy to check if the pump is working. Line up both the spray arms front to back and then run a sequence and see if the arms have moved. If they've moved the pump is working

Dishes on top shelf not getting clean

Check your upper wash arm.... check the holes, especially the ones at the end of the arm. Are they possibly clogged with debris or hard water? This is the usual cause of dishes on the top rack not getting clean. The holes at the end of the wash arm are angled to eject the water at an angle to use the reaction to push the wash arm around. If those holes are clogged, then the arm won't rotate, and only those few dishes or glasses right under the arm will get clean, and the remaining 80% of the dishes on the upper rack won't get clean!

Hi

Disassemble the lower spray arm and check the status of the water delivery hole. Lastly, check the spray tower, which consists of several rotating parts. Make sure no objects are stuck in the spray tower, then close up the dishwasher and try using it.
Remove the raised screen to the right at the sump to clean that out. The screen in the sump can get clogged up. Check the fourth diagram, part number 506 which I am talking about.

That is the parts breakdown you may have to pull the unit out to get to the sump .

It's easier to get to all the parts that can cause the problem .The real problem is the food still on the dishes when you wash .So once cleaned out don't add plates or bowls that have food still on them.it's the only way to stop that problem.

Check the 11th diagram for part number 329, it is flapper valve and it can be stuck by food particles.Try the heavy duty cleaner CLR pour a few cups in and let it go through a cycle.

Dishes are always dirty, maybe even dirtier after running dishwasher. has hot water, lower arm moves.

Check the outlet holes on both spray arms for clogs. If necessary, remove the spray arms, clean out the holes and empty out any debris inside the spray arms. Verify that the upper arm is turning also.

If the machine does not drain completely at the end of the cycle, the pump drain outlet is partially blocked and you are retaining dirty water for the next load.

You may have a chemistry problem - inferior soap, empty rinse agent dispenser, or extremely hard water.

Improper arrangement of the dishes can prevent some from being washed. Make sure no dish blocks the spray to another.

Not Cleaning Dishes

Hello there:
first you will need to check if the water supply line filter is clogged if not make sure that all of the strainers are not clogged i know that you said the spray arms are clean but if you get a real close look the nozzels expecially the end ones get clogged really easly if you use a tooth pick you can get these cleaned out if all of this does not work than i would suggest replacing the water pump this is what delovers the water under pressure to the spray arms ok

Bosch dishwasher - top row of dishes do not get clean

There is a screen that you can remove from the sump of the dishwasher to clean. Just twist it to the left and pull it out. I have some tips that you might want to check out if this does not resolve your problem.

I suspect that water is not coming out of the spray arms.  Dishes are not coming out clean.  In addition, soap dispenser is not getting rid of all of the soap.

Check to make sure the water is getting hot and that the heater in the dishwasher is working. Check spray arms for clogged holes and debris.

Spray Arms dont work, dishes dirty after cleaning cycle

Do the spray bars rotate easily? If not, you need to remove the spray bars and clean the insides out (do this even if the spray bars do turn easily.). Also check that where they mount is clean and free of debris.

Check the nozzles and make sure they are not plugged.

Also check that the inlet screen to the pump is not clogged (around the bottom of the unit).

Let me know what you find, and tell me if you can hear water spraying inside the unit during a wash cycle (and do the dishes get wet.).

GE dishwasher GSD2200G00WW dishes not clean

Make sure the spray arm is actually rotating and the jets aren't clogged. You should be able to hear the arm rotating when the dishwasher is operating.

Otherwise, perhaps the pump is plugged or not working and the water isn't "jetting"
