I have tried everything I can now! My hitachi TV has a problem I can't align the red lens with the blue and green lens. The problem is the Red lens is shifted too far left of center. i can't adjust it with the standard convergence adjustment on the tv. Therefore I am getting a double image. I love this TV but it's really bad. I need help otherwise it's going to get trashed.

Eric Long
You should rotate the purity rings untill it has shifted into the proper place.
I had a toshiba like that where the digital convergence didn't get close enough. Worse case scenario - remote the screen and loosen the red crt (don't loosen lens for there is liquid coolant in there) and put a couple washers under it and reinsert the bolt or screw. Worked for me and saved a TV from the landfill!!

red lens off double on pic
i can not get the blue to line up with the red and yellow
The red lens is off on my Hitachi TV Model 43FDX01B--can't adjust with convergence adjustment and receive double image.
My Red gun is also way off convergence. Its about 4 inches horizontal and maybe one inch vertically. Causing a double picture. Have checked the security of the guns and all are tight. Unable to converge with built in convergence screen. Anyone have any ideas?
My red will not line up on the convergence also the bottom is curved some times.
yes
the colors will not align after I tried everything I can with the covergence

Red lens off through the middle of the tee and on at the edges. Very difficult to watch. Had somebody out to fix it but couldn't.
