Phone only operates on charger - Cell Phones

Charge the phone at least overnite. Sometimes a replacement phone may arrive with a totally dead battery and the charger may not be able to put out enough current to operate the phone and charge it at the same time. If you want it to charge faster use a plug in charger with an output rating of 2 amps. They usually have 2 USB outputs and can charge two devices at the same time. If you only charge one device it's a piece of cake for the charger. .

Check the charger to ensure it's working. You need, either another charger that you KNOW works or a voltmeter to check the chargers output. Also, the display may indicate proper operation. If it's working OK, you need to change out the batteries, it's one of the two (probably). I don't know if batteries are a user changeable part on that phone. Best of luck...

1. Bad battery(completely dead or damaged)
2. bad charger or cable
3. bad A/C outlet(or A/C outlet operated by a switch which is currently off)
4. bad charger port on the phone
5. phone main board is completely dead

To reprogram/reset to original Operating System,

• Connect the charger.
• Make sure its fully charged and don't disconnect the charger.
• Press *#7370#.
• Wait till process completes and disconnect charger.

Keep the charger in and see if while the phone is off it is charging, it may be the charger or it may be a setting on the phone, maybe a phone model or brand will help answer the question.

So your charger if defective or your battery. Try another charger.

If the battery is just flat then you need a charger to charge the battery to get the phone operating.

Depending on age of phone, a charger should be no problem. As regards a number, you need to buy a simcard, usually. That will then assign you a phone number. Then you have to pay for the calls!

Hi! kindly try to drain the power charges of the phone by disconnecting the battery from the phone unit. Connect back battery and make sure that the charger is connected properly on the charging port of the phone. Please make sure you are connecting to a stable power outlet.
