It takes a full 24 hours for the machine to make ice again. Be sure that the lever in the ice maker is in the on position.

I believe the pipes involved in feeding your fridge were disturbed when the new valve was installed and now the junk in the pipes is blocking the water flow.

Have replaced the 3part inlet water valve for our fridge freezer. Water is working fine, but still not making ice.

Check the ice bin level arm (also the ice maker on/off switch) is in the down position. It senses when the ice bin is full and turns off the ice maker until some ice in the bin gets used. It can also be lifted into the up position to turn the ice maker off.

My ice machine stopped working on my fridge it's only 1 and 4 months old.any suggestions

If a year old there is no warranty for the ice maker or the dual water control valve. Feel around the ice slots to see if there is still sitting there? What is the model number of your fridge? If the ice tray slots are empty fill with tap water until near full and if the water freezes and the ice maker drops the ice into the ice container the problem will link to a water control valve problem. If there is ice in the slots and ice maker is on and does nothing then the problem is the ice maker and it will need to be replaced.

After replace new bosch ice maker still no ice

Are you getting water to the ice maker? If not then you need to check that water is coming into the back of the fridge. Loosen the water line but first turn water supply off. u can use a bucket and disconnect the water line and put it into the bucket have someone turn water back on and make sure wate is coming out with force into bucket. If it is then you may have a bad water inlet valve, these go bad from time to time. If not enough water coming into the bucket then check where water line connects to the water supply. Sometimes you have to make the whole a little bigger with a drill bit so more water will flow to the fridge. Hope this helps

The ice maker is no longer filling with water

Ice maker stopped making ice. For this problem you have check few things. First thing, is the water filling in the ice maker chamber and then ice maker not making ice? Or, the water is not filling in the ice maker chamber so it's not making ice. If the water is not filling in the ice maker chamber then it's clear that ice is not getting made due to no water in the chamber. For no water filling, the problem is either water supply valve turned off so water is not filling. Turn on the water supply and it will fill. But if the water supply is turned on then the other possibility is ice blockage in the water fill tube. There is a tube from which the water runs and enters the ice maker chamber. If this tube is blocked then water will not enter the chamber. The tube needs to be defrosted, by using hair dryer. This procedure melts the ice collected in the tube and water starts running again. But if water fill tube is completely clear and no ice blockage or any other blockage. Then other possibility is water valve at the back of ice maker unit. This water valve is for letting the water in the ice maker. The water valve open only for 7 seconds and in this time the water fills in the ice maker chamber and then water valve closes and the same procedure runs again in the next water filling cycle.------- For your information I will mention that there are two valves. One is the main valve the back of the fridge section. This main valve lets the water enter the refrigerator and other valve is at the back of ice-maker section. This other valve lets the water to enter the ice maker. In most of the cases the fault is water valve at the back of ice maker section. ------------- The other above possibilities which I gave you is water not filling in ice-maker chamber so it's not making ice. But now consider that water is filling in ice maker chamber but it's still not making ice. Then the problem is ice maker unit itself. This unit is controlled by main board. But in most cases if water is filling the ice maker but it's not making ice then its faulty ice maker unit. So see if the problem is water not entering the ice maker then the water fill tube is frosted by ice or the water valve at the back of ice maker is faulty. Replace the valve. ------------

KitchenAid ice dispenser tray is dry - not working

Put some water in the ice mold is what I would try. wait and see if the ice maker harvest a batch. If it does drop a batch but no more then the water valve is probably shot. The ice maker itself controls the water. It does this by filling the ice mold for 7.5 seconds. Here is your Ice maker repair manual and some repair photos along with a pictorial which snows how to check the water valve.

Frigedaire icemaker problem. Water line, maybe.

Did you turn the water back on? Pull the live off the back of the fridge, put it in a bucket and have someone hold it. Then go open your water valve for about 10 seconds. That will at least tell you if water is getting TO the fridge.

Ice maker makes very little ice

my under the counter ice machine makes very little ice. we just paid $600 to have a repairman put a new motor in it (although I don't think that was ever the problem) because it would always run, it was just not making any volume of ice. now it's been fixed and the repairman brought it back under th counter yesterday and it's STILL not making more than maybe 1 cup of ice in over 24 hours. I can hear the water running when Iopen it, but just don't get the bin full of ice like it used to get. HELP!!
