I simply need to know if there is a compatible replacement for powerglide battery 60101271. Mine has given up.

The key thing on wall warts.
Must have same voltage & the millAmp rating the same or of a higher millamp.
Ie..... if old one was a 250ma,
The replacement can be 500ma or 750ma etc.

Are you sure you have a powerglide i dont remember ever seeing one on a powerglide those trans didnt have one from the good ol days just a throttle linkege and modulater valve with a vacum hose to the intake mannifold.

Check with Ace Hardware, they will direct you to the manufactere for a replacement charger or perhaps a place that sells aftermarket chargers...sometimes you pay more for a charger then you would for the whole drill assembly, especially if they run it on sale.

I found a 18V Powerglide battery at AceHardware.com and they say that it will fit ANY 18V Powerglide tool. Their part number is 2103992 and list price is 23.99. However I would strongly recommend that you look at the battery online to make sure it will match up. This is allthe information I can find. Good Luck
