Where is the fuel filter on 2005 turbo diesel smart car

the smart car is sold i many countries,
and there are NOT THE SAME CAR (DRIVE LINE)
SO SERVICE IS NOT THE SAME.
NO COUNTRY TOLD
NO SIZE ENGINE TOLD. DISPLACEMENT.
the dealers off all cards made sell a service manual, that covers all service, that is a fact.
so buy one.

most cars have 2 filters for years one in tank and one out of tank
then newer cars only inside the tank
the reason is simple safety, if road hazard hit the filter you can get fuel fire.
so less parts in the fuel line means more safety with less EXPOSED.
