Odds are it was knocked over y broke the pivot arm

first you have to remove the two plugs on top behind the buttons remove the two screws next you have to remove the base stand and their is one screw you have to remove then you can remove the front cover and you can get to the motor and fan.

I had a similar fan which
quit. I could sometimes get it to start
spinning by banging on it. Finally took
it apart. Lots of small screws, all
small phillips. As I suspected, the
"thrust bearing," which supports the rotating components, had become
"stiff." I thought that it would be a non-friction (ball bearing),
but it is only a bushing, with washers supporting the shaft. With the motor opened up, I greased the
bearing with petroleum jelly, and reassembled everything. It is spinning very quietly now. Final comment - this is probably more work
than the average fix-it person would want to take on, but it is doable. It took about two hours, start to finish. I could do it in less than one hour now that
I know how to do it.

It's most likely one of the heat/humidity sensor tubes that needs to be replaced. This has happened twice to my T494C in 12 years. Miele (or your dealer) will come out and replace it for a cost. Do NOT leave wet clothes (or semi-dry clothes) in the dryer for any length of time when the dryer is not operating. Apparently this is one of the problems.
