No audio from Samsung DTB-H260F

Last Christmas I recieved an Olevia 323-S111. I had it hooked uo to cable and it performed perfectly.

Today I attachedd Samsung digital HDTV receiver DTB-H260F with an HDMI cable. Beautiful picture. No sound. Switched from Dolby to PCM, attached cables from audio out to TV'ds audio in. Nothing.

Mutes on both are disconnected.

The Samsun was last one in store, display model, no owner's manual.

Help, please.

Same issue. Onkyo SR605 receiver, with HDMI in from a DVD player (audio and visual works perfectly) and HDMI in from Samsung H260F. With the Samsung, the video is fine, but the audio is intermittent. After all kinds of machinations I can make get audio back, but I lose it again if I switch to DVD or alter the receiver's settings. The receiver and the Samsung are both new--I don't know where the problem is.

Same problem, no audio when connected via HDMI to a SAMSUNG HDTV. Analog hookups work fine and the TV happily plays sound from Apple TV via HDMI. Samsung not compatible with Samsung? Ha ha.

I have a sr605 Onkyo receiver and just hooked it up to a new Mitsubishi 73" and I could not get the picture to work, sound did though. Here is the problem the Onkyo is HDMI 1.3 but TV calls for HDMI 1.3a. There is a big difference between the 2 and the Onkyo will not work with TV. The newer model TV'S say in the manual Category 2 V 1.3a. You need to make sure that all your parts are compatable. It makes a big difference.

I need a code for a remote for a Samsung dtb-h260f hdtv receiver

Google the model number of the remote for a owner "manual" to obtain a list of possible codes for the set. Most universals have about 50 possible codes built into them and also have a search feature where one can try each and every code to see if one works.

No audio from cable through surround sound

you have to go to the setup for the TV audio and change it to audio out, not speakers.

Hooking up home theater

Run a regular RCA type audio cable from your TV audio out to your Home Theatre audio in. That is what I have done recently with my Samsung LCD and Home Theater. You then have to put your Home Theater on Aux 1 or Aux 2 to get the sound from TV. Ensure your TV's volume is off.
