Basically, if your Panasonic microwave display shows DEMO MODE, then just press the CLOCK button on the control panel 3 times in a row.

The display should then go blank indicating that it has successfully returned to normal cooking mode and can be operated as usual.

A few models require you to push the CLOCK button 4 times to clear the DEMO mode, so try that as well if the above instructions do not work for you.

Honestly, it is best left alone, Microwaves are treated to prevent radiation leakage and splitting a door would probably upset that radiation preventing shield from operating fully. If you really want the window cleaned, take it to a repairman who is can give you a certificate that the oven is safe and has no radiation leaks after completion of the job. (Microwaves can be extremely dangerous appliances)

I would recommend having it looked at. Sounds like the magnetron or the maser is malfunctioning and not operating within it limits which could be potentially dangerous.
