I need connect 10 pc's to internet in my office. i have two 8 port dlink switch. but i dont know how to merge those two dlink and want to give connection to all the pc's. please help me...

The cable modem will need to go through a router because it needs a NAT and PAT translation table, connecting the cable modem direct would lose the ability to get to the internet.
connect the router to the switch using any port-it does not matter which port you use. Connect each computer to any port on the switch-it matters not. The router will assign IP address to the computer as they are added.
No need to install the dlink on the imac. All you need to do is connect the modem first the dlink. (Modem connected to Internet or WAN port of the dlink). Now if they are connected, your imac should be plugged in to port 1 of dlink, and your PC to port 2. That should do it.
If the switch doesn't have an "uplink port" or autodetect the port speed, then you will need a crossover cable to connect the DLINK to the Surecom switch.
