Panasonic Camera lz2 not show pic before take it just black

my camera works but it has a black screen fore a pick but show the menu and stuff

INSERT THE CARD IN A CARD READER CONNECT TO A SYSTEM AND DELETE THE FILE WITHOUT OPENING IT. BACK UP YOUR PICS. AND FORMAT THE CARD.NOW YOU ARE TO USE IT IN THE CAMERA.

It shows a problem with the motorized lens mechanism.I will prefer unscrewing the camera only if you are such an expert because there are very fine mechanics inside the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2 which could be easily damaged if mishandled.Please take it to the nearest authorized service center.
I know this is not the solution you were expecting but I won't allow a much bigger damage due to mishandling.Your valuable feedback would be appreciated.Thanks for choosing Fixya.

According to the published specs for the DMC-LZ2, no. The DMC-LZ2 works with SD and MMC cards, not SDHC cards.

Use a card reader to download to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you can use any program to view your pics.

switch off your digi cam !!!! connect the digi cam via dta cable to the PC !!! now switch on the cam !!! keep your digi cam in display picture mode !!! now u can use your digi cam like a pen drive

hello baylie101, this message shows when the camera picks up a lens fault, if the camera has taken a knock or drop something could have went faulty in the lens. camera should be looked at by a qualified technician.

shutter not openining. ccd flex not plugged in correct or it is faulty. main pcb fault. first turn the camera on then check if the shutter opens.
