Whirlpool dryer makes a buzz noise when push start button and fan motor want start up only if you help it some is the motor bad or is a bad fuse the dryer is about two years old
If the drum is not turning then i would say the Belt has come off the rear of the drum and needs to be checked firstly.
If there is a fault code then it could be the thermostat has tripped out its safety trip and needs to be reset.
I have found that the switch activated by the door close or turns on the interior light when open on is likely the problem. You may notice that if the door is open and you push on the start button, it will buzz. So if the door is closed and you get this buzz when pushing the start button, there is a problem with the door switch. The start button "thinks" the door is open, and therefore not start. The defective door switch needs to be replaced. At least highly likely.
Pull motor switch out(the one with wires go in motor) best use compressed air.... lint is stopping lever... this all happens after you turn breakers off...hi hi
