Lg lsc26905tt ice maker makes ice, but wont turn dispenser
Makes ice and fills bin, but when trying to use the door dispenser, you just hear a buzz. Took out the bin and can turn the driver by hand. Any ideas? Thanks!

You can look to see if something from the freezer dropped into the chute? it may have blocked the exit. Is this all new ice or has it been a while since you used it? Maybe the auger in the bin is stuck?

There is a mechanical flap (trap door) that should open to allow ice that is being pushed by the auger in the bottom of the bin to fall out. Possibly the solenoid that opens the door does not work, or you just have an obstruction (piece of ice) preventing the door from opening far enough to allow the ice to pass through. Here is some helpful information and instructions.
I have the same problem. I am getting tired of having to clear it out about once a week. I take the ice holder out and empty it in a large bowl and remove any large, melted together pieces, then replace it. It works fine for a while.
Open the door and hold the door switch down and try the ice dispenser. Do you hear any thing. You should hear the ice door open and the augur motor turning to turn the augur which pushes the ice out the door. If the augur doesn't turn Take all the ice out of the bin and try. perhaps the motor is too weak or the augur is locked up. Take the bin out and try to see if the motor will turn with no load. The motor is behind the back cover where the bin sits. See if you get power to it using a voltmeter when you try the dispenser. If you are, probably bad motor. If not ,dispenser switch or solenoid is not working.
There is a solenoid that operates the door that could have stopped working. Can you hear it? The hinge on the door could be broken or the bracket it goes in could be broken. You'll have to look to see what's wrong.
Remove the dispenser cover by gently prying starting at the bottom going round and round a little at a time to prevent from breaking it. When it's off the screws will be exposed to access the other components.
do you have a water dispenser feature as well, does it dispense water, if so is the ice maker portion turned on. If not turn the cube selector to small or large cubes.
The auger motor and coupling in the rear may be frozen and won't turn.
Remove the ice bin.
Place a screwdriver or similar device in the forks of the auger and twist counterclockwise till it moves. The replace the ice bin and try again.
It will be difficult to move.
If that does not work. Turn off the fridge and use a hair dryer to hrat the auger gear and motor till it frees up.
Colenoid in the ice dispenser may be clogged or have a small amount of trash in it. Is there a filter on before the fridge (just after the ice maker shutoff)?
