That is not something many domestic auto manufacturers offer. that is mainly a foreign concept. you will need to drop the fuel tank which is a big undertaking for someone without the proper tools and equipment. I have heard of a local shop burning down in NYC because of complications during a fuel pump change.

There isn't one. You either make one yourself or lower the gas tank. See the link for guidance on lowering the tank and replacing the fuel pump.

I have a 1997 chevy tahoe 2-door.I need to know where the fuel pump fuse is located. I already checked the relay box and the fuse box on the dash board. The relay is working.I dont no if it could be labled...

If you have already checked the relay and fuse then have someone bang on the fuel tank hard while you crank the engine, if it starts then you know you have a bad fuel pump.

Chevy tahoe would not start because we change out the fuel pump with a brand new fuel pump. We connected the fuel pump proper according to detail diagram provide by the factory. The vehicle is a 1997 tahoe...

DID YOU GET A GM PUMP OR A CHEEP AIRTEC PUMP,DID YOU HAVE TO SPLICE THE NEW WIRES THEY GIVE YOU,IF SO MAYBE ONE DIDNT GET CRIMPED WELL ENOUGH.ALSO CHECK FUEL PUMP RELAY UNDER HOOD.MAYBE SWITCH IT AROUND WITH ANOTHER ONE.IF YOU CAN REACH THE PLUG FOR THE FUEL PUMP GET A TEST LIGHT AND SEE IF YOU HAVE POWER TO IT ...IF SO THEN BAD PUMP RIGHT OUT OF BOX...BEEN THERE DONE THAT.

My 1997 chevy tahoe is hard to start, I changed the fuel filter and spark plugs but it still takes a lot of cranking before it will start

the pressure regulator may be leaking. pull he vac line and see if its wet. wet is bad. Also these fuel pump connectors are known to overheat from poor connections. Do a search on gm fuel pump repeat failures and overheating connectors. Also the fuel pump could be leaking down so the line needs to be primed. Try cycling the key about 3 to 5 times before you start it. The pump will prime for 3 seconds each time before shutting off. If this helps the problem is the fuel pump.

I need to know how to change the fuel pump on a 1997 chevy tahoe

to remove the fuel pump you mus lower the fuel tank there ae two bolts on the back of the tank spray with wd 40 and use deep well socket 9/16 or 5/8 socket first lossen fuel hose clamp and over fill tube then unscrew the two bolts holding tank to vechicle, use a floor jack and a piece of plywood to lower the tank downone you have the tank on the ground tap the lock ring counter clockwise the tubes and wires come out of the center of the lock ring, tap it with a old wood chisel on two oppiste sides to get it to move once the ring is lose lift the fuel pump amd fuel sending unit out of the tank, replace fuel sock and o-ring on tank lube the o ring before installation and install in reverse proceedure replace main fuel filter, pull tank out and make sure there is no **** in the tank clen if there is. check the pickup tube for cracks. and put it back together and your set to go.

Fuel Pump not working

You should seriously make sure sure that your fuel pump relay in the fuse block under the hood is not bad first before you go through ALL that. I have had one go bad and months later get a bad connection and not turn on cause I don't have the cover for it and **** gets in there. Not sure about the inline I have always wanted to try that.
