LG 42PB4D 42" Plasma TV

I have a new LG 42PB4D 42" Plasma TV and I can't seem to get the Comcast remote control to control the TV. Comcast only has one control code for LG, supposedly 0056. Does anyone have other control number (must be 4 digits) that will work with the latest Comcast remote control?

    I have an LG42PC3D and can't get the factory remote to work or the comcast remote. Is it blocked somehow and if so, how do I unlock it?

    I have a LG DVR with built-in tuner and upconversion to HDMI but Comcast doesn't show any codes for LG PVR/DVR.

Warbu, thank you very much.
I have 2 (what seem to be) identical Comcast silver remotes.
I also have an LG 50" plasma TV.
I was able to program one of the remotes with code 0056 but the other one didn't take the code. The TV light never flashed twice after entering the code.
I read your post and the 11265 code worked right off the bat.
Thank you for your help!

Search remote codes for Goldstar instead of LG or try 11265, 10178, 10700, 107856

confirm tat only channel 73 & 90 has this problem and all the other channels are working . If so.... The problem seems to be with your cable operator not with the TV. Kindly contact your nearest cable operator to fix this kind of TV relay problem.

My 42" plasma is constantly changing channells up. remote also not working while this is happening.
I think it may remote controllproblem.channel button or scan button were pressed. you open the remote and clean slighitly all buttons with cotton .

My 42PB4D turns itself off and immediately back on. Interestingly this happens a lot but never when watching a dvd nor in the wee small hours of the night.
There can be several causes for this, few of which you can do anything about. However, a few things to try:

1) Replace the batteries on your remote control.
2) Try resetting the logic functions on your tv by unplugging it for a minute, then plugging it back in.
3) Try covering up the infra-red receptor on the front of your TV to see if you're getting unwanted signals from the receptor. taping a piece of foil over that area is perfect. If it doesn't stop after doing these two things you'll probably need to take it to a shop.
4) If this does stop it, then look for unexpected signal sources. Have you added a remote control extender? Added a new device to your audio-video system? Changed to a new remote?

Can't find the codes to programme satelite reciever on my tv remote. Please help. I have a Motorola HD reciever with SHAW Direct.
On most universal remote control, you will find the procedure to enter the builder code OR a procedure to pass through all the codes of the remote, one by one and pass to the other TILL you find the right one. It happen to me numbers of time and i've always trick it this way! Good luck.

Try this:

In the menu go to CC and set the TV to CC1 as this is a text box appearing for captions. Hope this works!

Programming u-verse remote for LG4270 (LCD 42inch) worked fine with code 1346.
This is a "Plasma" code according to U-Verse technical support, but was suggested with perfect result.
