LCD screen is not repairable, you hv to replace LCD from service center.
You can order the screens on ebay for about 4 pounds for 2 of them.. all you need is to solder 4 small wires
Hi there i'm having a problem. I upgraded facebook app to 1.9 and ever since then my lcd screen has gone dark with thin white lines. I can just about see and read.
Secondly, deleting my facebook messages works fine, but there is one f/b message that I cannot delete, I have tried uninstaling and reinstalling f/b app.
turned off blackberry message app in my facebook options.
Also tried hard reset,soft reset and even double soft reset.
Nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions?

The I9 has a defect. The outer screen, which is glued, does not allow for expansion. My screen cracked after only a week of light use. My phone was NEVER DROPPED, and developed a small crack near the edge. Within two hours, the crack expanded to the other side of the screen. The phone i have was manufactured in the same month I got it. Motorola has some issues with their warranty system, and it only works sporatically. This phone will most likely be recalled.
