try resetting the router. press the reset button for couple of seconds. the settings will all return to default. then type your router/modem model in google then look for default password in the internet.
Every router has a reset point/button which can be pressed by finger or ball-pen. Locate this reset. After resetting the router it will accept the the default password.
Plug in the laptop to your router with an ethernet cable. Then, in a browser type in the IP address of your router. This is usually 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1 (look up your router model on google and look for its default IP address).
You should be prompted to log into your routers interface, default logins are "admin" then "admin" for the password. If you have changed this in the past as well, you may need to reset your router (check an online guide).
Once you're in you should be able to view/change your wireless PW from there.

if its the default then should be on your router... id you have changed it on the back/side of you router there should be a reset button (very small) need paperclip push it in and should reset to defaults. or from the pc attached type in 192.168.0.1in internet explorer to access set up page and change password
I DON'T HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY PC IS CONNECT TO THIS NETGEAR ROUTER. IF YOU FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD OR SOMEONE CHANGE THE PASSWORD. YOU MAY RESET THE ROUTER TO FACTORY SETTING BY AT THE BACK OF THE ROUTER THIS A LITTLE HOLE A PAPER CLIP IS THE PERPECT TOOLS TO RESET IT. THE DEFAULT ID USER IS ADMIN AND THE PASSWORD IS PASSWORD. HOPE THAT THIS INFO WILL HELP YOU SOLVE THE FORGOT PASSWORD AND TO CONNECT TO WIRELESS PROBLEM. HH
Go to your control panle then select network connections, if you see your wireless icon, right click it and try selecting repair first.
Also, if the wireless icon is in the lower right of the monitor, right click it and view wireless networks, look for you router, then select it. Then select connect.
what you want exactly?password for what? username and password for internet in subscriber? or just WEP for wireless key password?
if you forgot the password for username and password for subscriber....theres an option,i dont know what kind of subscriber do you have in your country...if you forgot the username and passowrd you can ask in the subscriber.
regarding in the WEP password for wireless,it doesnt matter,try this..
type 192.168.1.1 in the internet toolbar
username:admin
password:admin
and you can see the configuration,check the wireless settings for WEP...
type ur IP address on ur address bar 192.168.1.254
and go to ur firewall and then advanced settings
go to the bottom and allow all application
that should do the trick !
if you cant remember ur system key click forgot password should give you a hint if that dosnt work try still cant remember password
