I have also tried the default one 12345 and that doesn't work either. you want to format the mobile..you can use *#7370# for format.....Dont forget to take backup for your phonrbook and all..After that your security code will be reset to 12345....Hope this will helps you....Thank you...

Is the password was a Security password, or the PIN/SIM password?

Regarding with your problem, you better call your network provider for this issue, they can assist you and remotely unlock your phone.

Changed the security code for my Nokia 6300

Get your phone IMEI number which is a fifteen digits number located in the battery compartment of your phone.

Then Visit http://www.nokiamastercode.com

Input the imei number at the site to generate a master reset code which you input when you switch on your phone.

This enables you to reset your phone security code.

You will have to get the firmware re-installed. There is no magic key to open any and all locks. Get it done from Nokia Care to be on the safe side.
