It sounds as if the non return valve in the elbow is the wrong way around .The o-ring normally goes in first then the ball then the spring. Try it and good luck.

SOURCE: How are the valve plates seated on an 8 gallon

the velves are called "reed velves" look from under the head at the velve block as if you were the piston, as the piston gos down it pulls (open)the inlet velve (but the out let velve is held closed by spring presher) and on the way up it (pushes closed on the inlet velve) and pushes the out let velve open so air can be pushed into the air tank,,,has this helped you? they are held in place by light spring presher and maybe fasend by a bolt?

SOURCE: Mastercraft compressor - one pancake type tank ... need pressure

You do not need to use factory replacement switch. Mos t universal pressure switches are set to shut off at 120-130 psi. You will need to check the placement of the unloader valve (1/4 line from check valve) and the quantity of ports as some switches have only one port and others have 3-4. Check ebay for good match and low price. Good Luck

Coleman Powermate DuraBuilt Air Compressor. Can I get the brass elbow on the top of a model DP0200604, S/N2080248

Question edited for a lot more clarity. All questions need full 'make model (what it is)' please. Also the model is 'DP - zero' and not DP - letter Oh. It makes all the difference to the search query. :>)

Most parts are obsolete.

HOWEVER, it is probably a standard threaded brass elbow like these.

I have a mastercraft compressor with LCD display its 11 gallon,it runs up to about 70 psi and will not go higher but keeps running, any ideas.

You either have an air leak somewhere or you have a damaged valve in the valve body. You can check for leaks using a spray bottle with a dishwashing detergent/water mix. Spray the mixture on connectors and look for bubbles. Don't forget to check the tubing coming from the compressor head and the regulator. If you find no leaks (you need to check carefully), you might need to remove the compressor head and check to see if the valves in the valve body are damaged. My Campbell-Hausfeld compressor did the same thing and I had to replace the valve body.

How do i find parts for my mastercraft model no:NS563 air compressor?

I find nothing for Mastercraft but boats.
I suspect your compressor is a common (Chinese) manufactured compressor as most. Probably uses common parts. If you know what part you need I'd search the www for local parts reseller (like Granger see link below) and take the part in. Grainger Industrial Supply MRO Products Equipment Tools

Sanborn 15 Gal. Air compressor "bleeder-valve" will not shut off when compressor shuts down. I replaced with a entire new unit ( which includes this bleeder valve ) and it does the SAME THING...

Leaking bleeder valve /unloader is caused by faulty check valve. Follow the air discharge hose from the pump head to the brass valve at the tank. The brass valve is the check valve designed to keep pressure in the tank and prevent air from loading the pump when the compressor is trying to start. Remove the discharge air tube at the check valve and test for leak. If leaking replace with generic valve available at www.grainger.com or on ebay. Good holidays

UST Power System Plus 1110c. Broken valve, no online help or diagrams. Need to remove the pressure gauge assembly, but after a few turns, it stops and won't come off.

I have a similar problem. The cheapo valve broke off when I was moving the compressor and can't find a replacement. UGHHH this is why you should go with POrter Cable or Dewal, off brand **** is getting annoying.

Compressor pumps up fine but then leaks air just below the relief valve. out of a small factory hole in a brass fittting and goe down till compressor starts again.

When the unloader leaks as you describe indicates that the check valve is leaking. Easy to check the condition of the valve. Follow air discharge line from compressor head to tank. The brass or steel fitting that threads into tank is the checkvalve. Remove all air from tank and remove large inspection cap to reveal the teflon seat. If it is cracked or swollen you will need to replace the valve. Parts available at www.toolpartsdirect.com Good luck

AIR LEAK ON CRAFTSMAN AIR COMPRESSOR, 3HP,25 GAL, HORIZ TANK

The needle valve that you see is the unloader which releases air pressure from the discharge line after set pressure is obtained. If air continues to leak after the compressor shuts off, the check valve installed in the tank is leaking air out of the tank. Follow the air discharge line from the compressor to the tank. There you will find a brass valve which is the check valve. Simple test is to remove the smaller airline (1/4") from the brass valve and check for air leaking. If leaking remove brass valve and check for debris under the white seat. If you cannot clean the valve, replace with generic check valve from www.grainger.com. It will cost less than factory part. Just order the valve considering the fitting sizes that you need. For exact replacement,( www.sears.com parts). If you sears model # begins with WL then your compressor is made by campbell hausfeld and parts may be ordered from www.chpower.com. Good Luck with you repair and email if you have more questions.
