I found both FDA2828N50F MOSFET transistors in the power supply were shorted. I replaced them and the amp worked fine. I couldn't find a reason for them to fail.
Mixing brands on footswitches, even within the same brand but different series is NEVER a good idea. While many can be converted by elecvtronics competent techs, the effort is usually not worth it for anything other than the simplest footswitch.
does your bass have active pick ups? do the ratings on your amp match the ratings on your speaker? are you using a pedal? does your pedal have an output adjustment? have the ground on your bass checked. make sure you're using the right kind of cable. and be sure that the outlet you're using is grounded.
