I see reference to porter cable fr350 and fr350a and I need a rebuild kit are those one and the same? It appears that when the fr350b came out they tagged the fr350 with the "A" tag is fr350a now is that correct?
The fr350a is completely different from fr350. The fr350a is completely modernized framing gun as compared to the retired version. I do not like repair kits because you are replacing parts that are still good. Instead replace parts as needed. If you state the issue you are having I may be able to recommend the actual part needed. If however you do not have any major air leaks, a lube job will make the gun work great. Use white grease or nail gun oil. Good luck with your repair.
After firing a nail the bar that drives the nail doesn't retract sometimes. when this happens, air leaks out of the back of the gun. Then I disconnect the air and let the compressor fill all the way back up, then reconnect the air. The the bar retracts to it's "ready to fire position. I can't find any FR350 o-ring kits (only FR350A). With that information, can you tell which o ring I might need. Maybe I can find the specific O-ring on "ereplacementparts.com" or somewhere.
Thanks
Tim

low air pressure may be the cause ,make sure you set the outlet to 70- 90psi
SOURCE: how to remove a jammed nail in a porter cable
Here is a link to the manual for your nail gun. Refer to page 11 of the manual for removing a jammed nail. To get the manual, go to the link, click on the "Manual" tab and the in the gray box, click on the name "FR350A Manual". The link is:

Hope this helps. If it does, please leave feedback.
SOURCE: Wiil a 22 degree Paorter Cable FR350A Round Head
No... it will fire 21-degree nails and perhaps 23-degree nails (but sont think they exist) and it is a full-head framing nailer so it is designed for firing round head nails. Using clipped nails will likely jam the nailer as these nails are stripped closer together with overlapping heads in the nail strip and the FR350A has a full round driver so you will run into issues with clipped nails. If you are having problems finding full round head nails, you can find them on Amazon to fit this nailer. Otherwise any good tool or trade tool store that sells nailers will likely have a suitable nail supply available for the FR350A.
