One of three things are possible:either you are missing part of your 240volts at input power,or a bad neutral power wire to heating element,an oven temp control,or the thermocouple that controls oven temp

I appreciate your post, friend!

I understand that you are having issues with your Electrolux oven not operating properly. From what you have described it sounds like you could have a short within your control panel, keypad, or wiring harness. In order to properly locate the problem and repair it you would need to have the appropriate tools and understanding on how to disassemble your range. This is not a simple DIY job. I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you avoid any future issues and personal injuries. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Simpson Nova oven model 63-538 fan and light not working

I have the same oven and the fan doesnt work intermittantly. I turn it on and off a few times and if that doesnt work I give the fan a push with the handle of a wooden spoon. Works so far so I havent bothered with a 'real' fix as yet.

1 . If your ELECTROLUXfan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning thefood more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor isworking you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element isheating but the fan motor is notblowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is alittle more expensive and a bit more involved.
2 . If you have the opposite problem i.e. your ovenis over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your ELECTROLUXoven thermostat
3. A quite common and easily overlooked answer isif your ELECTROLUX oven is not working at all i.e. noheat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTOmode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

My Electrolux EOB5610 fan oven will not heat up. The power light is on. The oven light is on. The fan works. There is some heat in the oven but not enough to cook with.

Only two possible causes. The oven element is faulty or the oven thermostat controller is faulty. Probably the first thing to do is test the oven element and check the resistance. If the element is okay then the oven thermostat will need replacing.

My oven light turns on but the oven doesnt heat up

If it is a fan assisted oven, and the fan is working o/k, then it is likely to be a faulty oven element.
This is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

My electrolux eod33002 bottom oven does not heat up but light and fan work. The top oven works OK

If youhave a ELECTROLUX electric Cooker or Fan Ovenwhich is not heating it could be one of the following problems.

1, If the fan motor in theback of the oven is going round and the temperature light is on (normallylittle red light), but there is no heat then you will probably need a new ovenelement, these are generally very easy to fit and readily available from our websitethese can be tested with a electric meter.
To gain access to the ELECTROLUX element you willhave to remove the back plate from inside the oven. Once removed you will seethe fan and element, if you look closely at the element you willprobably see a small hole burnt in it where it has blown. Sometimes howeverthere is no evidence of a fault but the element is opencircuit i.e. broken inside the element casing, either way it will needreplacing. Some elements will are fixed from inside the oven and some are heldin place by nuts from the rear of the machine.

2, If your ELECTROLUXfan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning thefood more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor isworking you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element isheating but the fan motor is notblowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is alittle more expensive and a bit more involved.

My AEG Electrolux fan assisted oven does not heat up. The lights and everything works just no heat.

If the fan and light work o/k, then you need to replace the oven element.
