The screen keeps flashing white then turning off continuously! it used to be solved by pushing it into the head unit in the top left corner, i've checked the connections on the back of the CD front and the head unit and nothing is insulating or restricing them. Remove any additional items in MP3. Such as micro memory stick and restart. Corrupt memory sticks cause this error. Also you could leave MP3 on and let power drain. Then recharge
To set the clock, please follow the following steps
#1 Press and hold the "SRC/OFF" button on your Pioneer car CD player until the unit powers down. Note that the "SRC/OFF" button is located on the top left of the Pioneer car CD player. #2 Press and hold the multi-control knob, located on the left side of the CD player. Hold the multi-control knob until the words "Clock Set" appear on the CD player's display. #3 Turn the multi-control knob until the words "Clock Set" are highlighted. Press the multi-control knob on your Pioneer car CD player to enter the clock setting mode. #4 Turn the multi-control knob to highlight the "Hours" option. Press and hold the multi-control knob until the hours-place digits begin to flash. Rotate the multi-control knob until the desired value is displayed. Press the multi-control knob on your Pioneer car CD player to save your changes. #5 Turn the multi-control knob to highlight the "Minutes" option. Hold the multi-control knob until the minutes-place digits begin to flash. Rotate the multi-control knob until the desired minutes value is displayed. Press the multi-control knob to save your changes and end the clock-setting process.
It has what is called reverse mode which flashes to protect the display to turn feature off please follow these steps. Press the 5 numbered button when power to this unit is turned off while the ignition switch is set to acc or on will cancel the reverse mode and stop the flashing. Hope this helps.

reverse, and then continue reversing every 10
seconds.
1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
Reverse mode.
2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn the reverse
mode on.
# To turn the reverse mode off, press
MULTI-CONTROL again.
Note
You can also turn on or off reverse mode by pressing
BAND while this unit is turned off.
