Plantronics 222 problem please help!

Hi!

To put your Plantronics headset into pairing mode: with headset OFF please press and hold the CALL CONTROL button until the light on the headset begins to flash red and blue.

When the other device (e.g. mobile phone) ask for entering a passcode, please enter 0000.

hold call control button for 2 seconds until the light flashes blue and it will automatically go into pairing mode, flashing red and blue.

Put headset into pairing mode - With headset off, press and hold Call Control Button
until the headset begins to flash red and blue.

Select "Add new device" on your phone.

Select the Plantronics headset when prompted. Enter "0000" as passcode.

Your 925 headset will now have a continuous blue light blinking.

Choose "Yes" if your phones asks if you want to bond to the 925 headset.

Your phone is now paired with the Plantronics 925 headset and ready for use.

Had the same problem and called Plantronics. They reminded me about putting the earpiece in "Discovery Mode" by holding down the button when turning it on until it flashes blue/red. Then have the EVO scan for bluetooth devices. It found mine right away.

Hi,here is a detailed solution on how to set your plantronic headset into the discovery mode;
STEP 1 You have to firstly put off the headset,by holding the call control button,which is the button on the face of the bluetooth,until the blue light turns red,as soon as the blue light turns red release the button.
STEP 2 After putting off the headset,wait for like 5 secs to ensure its completely off.when the device is off,you can now press and hold on the call control button for 5secs if its the first initial pairing,if it's not,then you have to hold on the call control button for 8seconds,afterwards the light should flash red then blue in both cases
STEP 3 At this point in time your headset is in discovery mode,and you have 60 seconds to pair it with your phone which should also be in the pairing mode as well.
Your plantronics headset and your phone are matched up and you are good to go.

trying to install my plantronics 222 blue tooth head-set to my nokia 7610,but it keeps asking for a pass code.

Power the device on by holding the block(sitting at hightest point when upright) button. A blue led should flash on outside of the mic. Then press and hold the + (Volume up)button and the Answer button(on side of mic) both at the same time until the blue light flashes intermitten red then blue

Have you placed the 925 into discovery mode?  It will be flashing red and blue rapidly if you did.  Here's how to do it: Turn the headset off by holding the main button down until a red light comes on Turn it back on by holding that same button and keep holding it after you see the blue light come on.  Eventually it will start flashing red and blue.  This is now in pairing mode.  Set your computer (if it is bluetooth enabled) to find all bluetooth devices.  It should be listed as Plantronics 9xx.  If you need a passcode it's 0000.

Start with your headset turned off. Press the talk button on the headset. Hold it until you see the light on the headset begin to rapidly blink red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, etc. Let go, the light should continue to blink red and blue. Go into your phones blue tooth menu and search for the headset. The phone will only find the headset if the headset is in pairing mode (blinking red and blue). The pass key is 0000.
