At eservice.sony.com I found that there is basically a recall on the Sony Cyber shot camera until Nov 30, 2009. the LCD screen suddenly goes pinkish and blurry. they show the exact screen on their repair site. I am so glad I ran across this forum--another site wanted $120 to look a the problem. Sony is charging $20 for the repair.

All of the sudden I'm getting blurry pictures? What could be the reasons?

Possible reasons: 1) you are moving the camera when taking pictures, 2) make sure the lens is wiped clean of fingerprints, etc., 3) if taking pictures through glass (i.e. car windshield), make sure the glass is clean and 4) if taking pictures from a vibrating object (i.e. a running car), turn off the car to eliminate the vibration. The curvature of a vehicle's windshield COULD also distort your photos.

If you have tried using the auto setting and it is still doing the blurry pictures it sounds like a problem with your camera not the settings themselves.
This blog http://www.teleplancamerarepair.com/camera-repair-blog/post/Got-Blurry-Pictures-Blurry-Image.aspx suggests a couple of the reasons might be:
"When your image appears distorted and with altered colors, in most of the cases there are two possible reasons:
- The internal shutter gets stuck , does not open completely or
-
The image sensor is damaged.... "

Canon Powershot A75. The picture display is blurry.

If picture is blurry but image is not distorted with color shades then camera needs focus adjustment that can be performed in Canon service center. Please check with nearest Canon service center about repair cost and decide to get it repaired or not.
Thanks.

Fuzzy pictures

The blurry pictures are due to movement. Sometimes adjusting the flash helps.

Blurry pictures...

There are manual settings for shutter speed and aperture. You may want to us a tripod or a camera stick to steady it. There's also a burst setting, which lets you hold the shutter button, and take shot after shot. It's a good camera- experiment with it.
