If the format of the video from your camera is .3gp you can play them using quicktime player or if you want to view the video using MS Media Player you need to convert the video using a video converter

You could use Total Video Converter

Motorola RAZR2 V8 captures vedio in 3GP/Mp4 file format which is not directly playable in PC without a suitable codec installed in your PC. Try playing that file using VLC player which is free and capable of playing almost all file types even the corrupted vedio files. Download the VLC player from here

Have and old Sony DCR-TRV340E camera, how do I install driver for it on my pc running Windows 7 64 bit version. I like the camera, so do not wish to change it, and have no drivers with it

I'm sorry you're experiencing difficulty with transferring videos from the Camcorder to the Windows 7 Computer. Unfortunately, the USB streaming feature of the Camcorder is not compatible with Windows 7 Operating System. However, you can use either i.LINK or A/V interface to transfer videos from the Camcorder to the Windwos 7 Computer. I have provided a link where you can view the steps to transfer videos using i.LINK interface:
http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/documentLink.do?externalId=C111893
I have provided another link where you can view the steps to transfer videos using A/V interface:

Thank you for understanding.

Video viewing

If you have not yet installed Kodak's EasyShare Software, start there. With that, you can view, organize and even edit (trim) still and video images. Versions 6.4 and up are Vista compatible. You can then transfer in new images from the camera or add any images that you already have on your PC.

Good luck!

Pv-L750 camcorder

I have a Panasonic camcorder PV-L750D-K

You will need to purchase Pinnacle Video Transfer.

http://www.pinnaclesys.com/images/redesign/PVT/comp1.html?KeepThis=true&TB_iframe=true&height=400&width=650

It's expensive, but it's the most convenient way to transfer analog video (via a USB flash stick or external hard drive) to view and edit on a PC.

I have used this device with my Panasonic PV-L750D-K Palmcorder (camcorder) with success.

A few things to keep in mind:

a.) The Pinnacle Video Transfer converts the the video into MPEG 4 format - so you will need the Apple QuickTime viewer to view the videos on your PC.

b.) You will need to purchase a USB flash stick, a min of 4GB (I use an 8 GB flash stick), unless you have one already.

c.) Your flash stick should be formatted to FAT 32

d.) You will need the Audio/Video cable that came with your Panasonic camcoder (the supplied A/V cables that come with the Pinnacle Video Transfer are incompatible with the Panasonic camcorder).

e.) You will need to update the Pinnacle Video Transfer with the latest firmware update (available from the Pinnacle Support Site) before you hook everything up.

The rest is a no brainer. Just follow the instructions in the booklet, or view the tutorial videos on the pinnacle web site for more info.

Have fun.
