Can't save music to external memory

I have never been able to save music to the external memory in my LG ks360. I have formatted the SD card but it still says 'memory full' when someone tries to send me music by bluetooth. It will save pictures ok, but will never save sounds.

Ive been trying for ages to do this and its so easy but no one seems to be explaining it easy! Your phone without the memory card only holds one or two songs. you must have songs in there for it to say memory full. Go to this song press options , file, move to extrenal. Now try and send a song through bluetooth. You will be able to recieve it now you have freed up spave on the phones own memory. Remember to save it to external straight away so u can recieve the next item. Easy peasy!

It's because the phone wont send any file sent by bluetooth automatically to external memory, you have to make sure you have enough memory on phone, then once you have it transfer on the phone to external memory .

Testimonial: "Thanks.Had just worked out how to do it for myself but was great to know that it wasn't just me being stupid and it's the only way it can be done !!!"

Accessing my music on my external sd on the lg prada

Double check the file format you have your music saved as. On some lg phones the media player will only read mp3 files. If they are stored as wma files they might not be readable by the phone. Also when you look at the memory card on your computer if the files are not stored under my music or music the phone wont be able to read them. Good Luck!

My lg ks360 webslider wont read my external memory

Hi , I just had the same problem with my son's webslider and found this solution. Go to Settings-Memory Status(which is way down the bottom out of view, just keep scrolling down)-External Memory. Once selected you should see how much memory is available. Down in the lefthand corner is 'Format' select this and it will prepare your micro SD card for use in the phone.Make sure you turn the phone off after formatting and restart it, just as you would when installing new software on a computer. Cheers!

Lg ks360, cant get music playing off memory card

Connect USB lead, open "My Computer" access the memory card on "Removable disk (G)" - This will list the files in the "Music" folder. Open up my computer again & drag the files from the "Music" folder to the "Sounds" folder. When you then disconnect the USB the files will be in the "Sounds" section of the Media Album on the phone and can be played back. Hope this is of some use.
