Set? i cant seem to figure out how to set chronograph (hours-minutes) i cant set the regular time but not the little circles

TIME AND DATE
1. Press and hold MODE until HOURS digits flash (you'll be in Alarm Mode) Press MODE again to enter TIME mode, SECONDS digits will flash.
2. Press ADJUST to set SECONDS to zero.
3. Press START/STOP to select MINUTES.
4. Press ADJUST to change.
5. Repeat to set HOURS, MONTH, DAYS, and DAY of WEEK. Go through 12 hours to set AM or PM.
6. Press MODE when done.
7. To display DATE from Time display , press START/STOP.
8. With DATE displayed press and hold START/STOP, then press ADJUST to change display between DATE-MONTH and MONTH-DATE.
9. With TIME displayed, press and hold ADJUST, then press MODE to switch between 12-and 24-hour format.

ALARM AND HOURLY CHIME
1. Press and hold MODE until HOURS digits, DAY, and A or P (for AM or PM) flash.
2. Press ADJUST to change HOURS digits. Go through 12 hours for AM or PM.
3. Press START/STOP to select MINUTES.
4. Press ADJUST to change.. Press MODE when done.
5. Press and hold ADJUST, then press START/STOP to turn chime on/off. Press START/STOP again to turn alarm on /off. Release START/STOP when done.

CHRONOGRAPH
1. Chronograph will count up to 24 hours. Lap times are not stored. After 40 minutes chrono display changes from seconds to minutes.
2. With time displayed, press MODE to select Chrono Mode.
3. Press START/STOP to start.
4. Press ADJUST to view lap time. Press again to resume lap timing.
5. Press START/STOP to stop timing . Press ADJUST to reset chrono to zero.
6. Repeat for successive laps.

1. From normal time display, press A three times to enter setting mode. Seconds will begin flashing.

3. Press D to set and advance to next setting value.

5. Setting sequence is: seconds, hour, minutes, month, date, day of week.

6. Press A to exit setting mode.

Alarm Setting

1. Press A to change to alarm mode (AL).

2. Press and hold C for alarm sound testing.

3. Press C to toggle alarm/chime on/off.

4. Press D to enter setting mode; hour will begin flashing.

7. Setting will automatically exit setting mode mode after minutes are set.

Chronograph Mode

1. Press A to change to chronograph mode (ST).

2. Press C to start/stop chronograph.

3. Press D to reset chronograph when it is not running.

Split Time

1. Press D while the chronograph is running.

2. Press D again to return to the chronograph.

3. Press C to finalize timing.

4. Press D to reset to zero.

read carefully the manual, you might have push the stop botton. chronograph watches are very tricky to use.

Setting the Time and Date
1. To set the time and date on your Armitron digital watch, begin by pressing the "A" button while in time-telling mode. When you are finished programming the time and date, press "A" to save and return to time-telling mode.
Using the Chronograph
2. To use the chronograph feature on your digital Armitron watch, press "B" while in time-telling mode to access chronograph mode. Press the "C" button to start the timing; press "C" a second time to stop the timing. To reset the chronograph, press the "A" button. Press the "B" button at any time to return to time-telling mode.
Using the Split Lap Chronograph Feature
3. To use the split lap feature on an Armitron digital watch, press the "C" button while in chronograph mode. Press the "A" button to measure splits or laps; at the end of the event, press the "C" button to stop the timing. Press "A" once to see the final split or lap time, press "A" twice to reset the chronograph to "0". Return to time-telling mode by pressing the "B" button.
Setting an Alarm
4. To set an alarm on your Armitron digital watch, press the "B" button twice to access the alarm mode. Press the "A" button and wait for the hours place to begin flashing, then press the "B" button twice. Press the "B" button, followed by the "C" button to set the hour and minute of your alarm. When you're finished, press the "A" button to save the alarm. Press the "B" button to return to time-telling mode.
Using the Countdown Timer
5. To use your Armitron digital watch as a stopwatch, begin by pressing the "B" button three times while in time-telling mode to access the countdown timer mode. Press the "A" button, followed by the "C" button to set the hour. Press the "B" button, followed by the "C" button to set the minutes and seconds. Once you've set your timer, press "A" to return to countdown timer mode. To stop the countdown timer, press the "C" button. When you are ready to reset the countdown timer, press the "A" button. To return to time-telling mode, press the "B" button.

FEATURES

12 hour hand.
A. SETTING THE TIME
1. Pull the crown out to position “3” (See diagram). If the crown has
a “screw-down” lock, then unscrew the crown lock first by turning
the crown toward you, then pull it to position “3”. Do not forget to
screw the crown back “IN” after all setting is completed.
2. Turn the crown towards you (hands moves clockwise) until the
date changes at approximately midnight.
3. Continue turning the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
If it is afternoon you must go past 12 o’clock again (noon) to set
the correct time.
4. When the correct time is set,push crown back to position “1”.
B. SETTING THE DATE
1. Pull crown to position “2”(See proceeding diagram).The watch
will continue to run.
2. Turn the crown away from you until the correct date appears.
3. Once the date is set, push the crown back to position “1”.
Note: Do NOT set the date between the hours of 8:00 PM and
3:00 AM.This would not damage the watch,but the date may need
to be reset later.
C. CHRONOGRAPH (CHRONO) ADJUSTMENT
If the chrongraph second hand is not positioned at the proper
starting position (12 o’clock or “zero” position), use the below
procedure.It does not need to be repeated unless the watch
receives an impact sufficient to move the hand out of position, or
the Battery has been changed.
1. Pull crown out to position “3”.
2. Push button “A” to move the Chrono Second hand (long hand) to
the “0” or 12 o’clock position. Each button push will move the
hand one step – BUT holding the button down will advance the
hand rapidly.
3. Push crown back to position “1”.
D. USING THE CHRONOGRAPH (CHRONO)
Note: The maximum chrono reading is 60 minutes, However the
chrono will continue running once 60 minutes has passed. The
resulting one hour periods may be added together mentally to keep
track of longer periods.
For example – If you know that approximately one hour has
passed since you started the chronograph, and the chrono reads
25 minutes, then you know that the chrono has been running 60
minutes plus 25 minutes, which is one hour and 25 minutes.
1. Push Button “A” to start the chronograph. Push button “A” again
to stop the chronograph.
2. Push button “B” to return the two chronograph hands to the
“Zero” or starting point.
3. The Chronograph can be stopped and started again
(Button “A”), repeatedly, to “ADD” times together.

Instructions for Sharp Alarm Chrono (Digital)

Push "Mode" button until the mode is shown that you want to reset, do this even if the mode you want to reset is all ready showing.

Push "Reset", continue pushes until the desired Parameter (Minute, Hour, or Second) is flashing.

Use "Start" button to advance the digits to the desired setting.

Push "Mode" Button to finish.

pull out the crown one click and press the bottom chronograph button. If That does not work you will have to send it in for service to cartier.
