Your thermal print head is bad. This is a very old machine and I do not know where you can get parts. This machine is no longer supported by field repair

On top of the operating panel is a small removeable tab with a bump on top. (not the Blue ones) Pull it out of the machine This is the battery holder.
The battery is a CR 2032. Most electronic stores sell them.
if its coming from a fax server this cannot be stopped. You should upgrade to a newer better machine that is up to industry standard. Fax servers are basically faxing you from a computer. This is a different process than faxing from an actual fax machine and the page size can be conflicted. Only high end newer machines can compensate for this.
I have a 9920 manual,could be the same.Try the following but if you get different displays don't change anything.Press function,should read FUNCTION SELECT , ENTER FUNCTION # .Enter 8, scroll to AUTO REDUCTION.(use COM STAT or HELP keys to scroll)Change to NO.Press stop to return to normal mode.If this procedure is not exactly the same for your model,then just search through the function settings and find AUTO REDUCTION and set to no.
