My Samsung hcn4226w won't stay on.

Yesterday I moved my TV in the back of a pick-up (it was a 30 minute drive on the highway). I set it up last night and it was working fine. Today I went to turn it on and it powered up normally. The screen and sound came on, but it immediately turned back off and turned back on again. I unplugged it for a few minutes, then plugged it back in. It immediately began turning on and off again. When it turns on the screen and sound are both normal for a few seconds before the TV turns off again.

There are many protective circuits inside the set that will shut it down if a problem is detected. It sounds like there are intermittant detections of problems and the "restart" temporarily clears the problem. If the unit is no longer under warranty, open up the back with the set unplugged and try reseating all of the boards and connectors. The trip may have jared a few things loose. Update this with the results.

Thanks,
Dan

Samsung rear projection tv does not come on

The power supply circuit board has probably gone bad. Repair cost for an in home service call by the major players would be about 450$ plus tax usually with a 90 day guarantee.
