Have you tried updating your TV's Software?

Most likely you need to update either Play store or Play services. If you open the play store app on your TV and select "my apps" look for the updates and see if there is an update available.

Darn frustrating!!!!! Have spoken to the techs who are so patients and helpful, but all they say is: we are waiting for google to fix the problem!!!!! Haven't been able to use the TV since we bought it on 21.6.19. What is going on???? When will this be fixed?? Polaroid/Google can have the useless thing back.

Once you are connected to the wifi, go to settings and do a systems update. If there is an update, then it will update to the newer version.
