My X5470 has worked fine for years. I had my cable and phone (over cable) go out for 24 hours before it was repaired. When I turned everything back on, my X5470 would trun on... begin the setup cycle.. then turn off and begin the cycle again. I bought a new ac adapter, but, it still does the same thing. Anyone know what this maight be caused by?
I encountered the exact same problem with my Lexmark X5470. After a power failure on Aug 20, the printer would reboot itself every few seconds. I unplugged the power cord and/or adapter for a few minutes and after replugging, it worked fine. However, the problem returns after I power off the printer and then turn it back on, in which case I unplug again for a few minutes. Hope this helps.
